Step 1 - Collect Your Photos/Slides/Negatives
- Assemble them in a place where you can spread out.
Step 2 - Organize Them
- If this process is too overwhelming, we can help if you live in the Charlottesville area. We provide services to help categorize and organize your pictures. We can help you get started or we can help you do all the categorizing, organizing and packaging.We can stay and help you as long as you like for $30.00 per hour.

Step 3 - Package Your Pictures
- It is helpful to place your pictures in the right size box where they are more contained than in a large open container. A cardboard shoe box sized box is very useful for smaller prints up to 4x6. We recommend putting your pictures in zip lock bags to keep each group together and to protect from moisture damage during shipment. Larger items go in a larger box which protects them from damage. Again put groups in zip lock bags.

Step 5 - Either deliver or send us your treasures.
- It’s your choice, if you want to deliver your pictures/slides/negatives, please call us at 434-979-0777 or email us at www.rapidphotos.net to schedule a time that will work for both of us. If you choose to send your materials, please use a traceable shipping service. Also, please make sure you provide adequate packing material and protection to avoid damage during shipping.

- If you send us your pictures, we will email you when we receive them. Within a few days we will email you with a cost estimate and approximate return date.
Step 6 - Submit Payment
- We require a 50% deposit before work is started. You can pay 100% if you wish and speed up the process. Payments can be by credit card, or check. Checks should be payable to ‘Rapid Photos’.
- We will notify you when your order is completed either through email or phone. We’ll also notify you of any amount due to be paid in full.
Step 7 - Get Your Pictures Back
You can enjoy your beautiful pictures either by picking them up or we’ll send them to you only through a reliable and traceable shipping service.
